CORE
CORE will use the default image for the yearbook pose unless overwritten on retail or pictureadmin.
- If no default image has been checked, CORE will automatically use the last image in the last view category as the default and yearbook pose, unless a different view in alignment categories has been selected to use for Yearbook images. In that case, it will use the last image in the selected view category. This scenario is only true if not overwritten by retail or pictureadmin.
- If an image has been checked as the default image in CORE, that image will be used as the default and the yearbook pose instead of the last image. This scenario is only true if not overwritten by retail or pictureadmin.
RETAIL
- If the a yearbook pose is selected on the retail site (and imported into CORE via the headsize images page) it will override any yearbook selection in CORE. The default image will remain labeled as “default” in CORE but the image selected on the retail will become the “Yearbook” image. You will now see a “Yearbook” label on the image in CORE when viewing the images on the order page. This scenario is only true if not overwritten by the pictureadmin.
PICTUREADMIN.com
- If a pose is approved or changed and approved on the pictureadmin site (and imported into CORE via the headsize images page) it will override any yearbook pose selection made in CORE or on the Retail Site. Again, if an image is marked in CORE as the default, it will remain marked as default, but will not be used for the yearbook pose. The pictureadmin.com site has the ultimate selection over the yearbook pose.
NOTE: once the pictureadmin.com site has been enabled and any selections made, all yearbook selections must be made and/or approved on the pictureadmin.com site and imported into CORE. Once the pictureadmin site is enable, you can no longer make yearbook selections in CORE or on the Retail Site. Photographers should set a deadline to select poses online and disable that feature BEFORE enabling the use of the pictureadmin.com site.
CHANGES MADE IN CORE
Toggle Image Visibility
- You can now toggle the image visibility. Hover and click the “Hide Image” or “Show Image” buttons.
Yearbook Pose Indicator
- “Yearbook” pose indicator is now shown on the images page.
- May end up removing the words DEFAULT and YEARBOOK and just using the icons…
Other Changes
- Removed a lot of extra white spaces that was under each proof. The “Print proof”, “set default”, “Image Info” links now hover slightly over the image at the bottom instead of reserving space below the image.
