We have been testing the Yongnuo RF-603 II Transceivers ($30/pair) over the last month. These units can each be used as a receiver or a transmitter for triggering your studio lights. The only issue we have encountered is that the units will drain the AAA batteries even when turned off.
We have just recently begun tests on the Neewer 7-Channel Wireless Transceiver. These work well with camera to light communication AND we have noticed no drain to the batteries when turned…off.
So, if you are still in the market for a wireless transmitter or receiver, here is my current recommentation.
