If you recall, in 2019 we announced that our P&D – based awards would now be based on calculations for a “school year” of July 1 – June 30th for purposes of determining President’s Club winners, Volume Rebate Levels and other awards.
This allows us to honor award winners more quickly after their achievements ….at our annual summer Conference. It also allows more time for travel planning for our President’s Club winners.
Of course, both 2020 and 2021 were affected by Covid. So, we have made some changes in how awards and rebates are calculated over the last year for the purposes of this season.
For the 2021 awards (normally calculated July 1 2020-June 30th 2021) we did the following:
- Anyone who had previously qualified for a volume rebate would KEEP their rebate level (even if their volume is down) as long as they maintained at least 50% of their 2018-2019 volume……which was most people. So, rebate levels cannot go DOWN (if you are above 50%), they can only go UP!
- For purposes of calculating increases, we compared July thru June numbers for 2020-21 to 2018-19 (our last normal time span).
- We ALSO added 10 working days in July to the “school year” number to account for any orders that had not invoiced yet- BONUS DAYS!
